Walt Disney Studios Cast Chinese Actress for Live-Action ‘Mulan’
Walt Disney Studios announced November 29th that Chinese actress Liu Yifei is cast to play the main role in the highly anticipated live-action movie Mulan.
迪士尼公司在11月29号宣布，中国演员刘亦菲将在备受期待的真人电影花木兰中饰演木兰。
刘亦菲是中国著名模特和歌手，据南华早报报道，她在上千名试镜者中脱颖而出。
She has starred movies like Outkast with Nicolas Cage and The Forbidden Kingdom with Jackie Chan.
她曾和尼古拉斯一同出演电影Outkast，和成龙一同出演《功夫之王》。
The Walt Disney adaptation is based on The Ballad of Mulan,about a warrior woman who impersonates a man to replace her father in an army.
迪士尼电影据木兰谣改编，讲述了一个女战士打扮成男人替父从军。
It also comes out of a 1998 animated musical by Disney which grows 304 million in the box office worldwide.
1998年迪士尼还出品了一部花木兰动画音乐剧，此片的全球票房为3.04亿美元。
Many people tweeted how excited they are about the casting choice including the voice of Mulan in the animated flick Ming-na Wen who gave her stamp of approval for Liu on Twitter.
很多人在推特上表示他们对该选择感到开心，包括木兰的配音温明娜也在推特上表示支持刘亦菲。
Mulan is set to release in 2019.
木兰将于2019年上映。
